What is the 'Migration Date' in Zoho Books?

The migration date is the date on which you generate the trial balance report in your previous accounting system just before migrating to Zoho Books. This date helps in accurately setting up opening balances.

Can I change the migration date after setting it?

You can change the migration date if you have not entered the opening balance for your customers and vendors and you have not entered the opening stock for the items.

Can I import items with the same SKU number?

Zoho Books requires unique SKU numbers for each item. If your current system has duplicate SKUs, you'll need to modify them to be unique before importing.

How do I import bank transactions into Zoho Books?

To import bank transactions navigate to the Banking module and add your bank or credit card account, upload your bank statements in CSV or OFX formats to import transactions.
