You can migrate Organizations or Companies, End users or Contacts, Tickets, Articles. These records will retain their creation and modification dates, as well as the user who created them.
How do I export data from Zendesk?
You can filter tickets using Zendesk groups and brands to migrate only relevant ones to Zoho Desk, Custom fields are dynamically created during migration, with types predicted from sampled data, Thread replies from Zendesk tickets are marked with the direction value 'in', Threads without 'from' and/or 'to' addresses are tagged with the channel 'CUSTOMERPORTAL'
How long does the migration process take?
The duration depends on factors such as the amount of data, the number of customers in the migration queue, and the complexities involved. While Zoho Desk's migration engine facilitates timely migrations, it's recommended to contact customer support for a more specific timeline.
Will my agent accounts be automatically added to Zoho Desk?
No, you need to invite your agents and have their accounts confirmed in Zoho Desk. Their Zoho Desk email addresses should match their Zendesk email addresses to ensure proper ticket assignment. Also, ensure agents have access to the department where tickets will be migrated.
Can I migrate tickets to a custom department?
Currently, the migration engine is programmed to move all data to one department (default or otherwise) in Zoho Desk. Migrating tickets to a custom department is not supported at this time.
